Deleting your ATLASfusion account
ATLASfusion accounts are issued by an administrator at the organisation you work for, rather than created by you. That is why the app has no delete button. Deletion runs through whoever issued the account, and this page sets out both routes.
Ask your administrator
This is the quickest route. Your organisation's ATLASfusion administrator can close your account immediately from the Access Control Console. Once they do, your sign in stops working on every device.
Or write to us
Where you would rather not go through your employer, or you have left the organisation, write to support@atlasfusion.com.au and ask us to delete your account. Please include:
- The email address you sign in with.
- The name of the organisation whose ATLASfusion you use.
We will confirm your identity before we act, so that nobody can close someone else's account. We aim to complete the request within 30 days and we write to you when it is done.
What gets deleted
| We remove | Your organisation keeps |
|---|---|
| Your sign in credentials and two factor settings | Tickets raised, along with the work history recorded against them |
| Your name, email address and profile details | Photographs and signatures attached to those tickets |
| Your registered devices and push notification tokens | Asset and equipment records, which describe things rather than people |
| Your personal notification rules and preferences | Audit entries the organisation is required to retain |
The reason for the second column is that the work records belong to your employer rather than to us. They are their business records, and they often have legal or safety obligations to keep them. Where those records name you, ask your administrator what their retention policy requires. Where we are able to, we replace your name in historical entries with a marker that shows the user was removed.
Removing the app is not the same thing
Deleting ATLASfusion from your phone or tablet signs that device out and clears the credentials stored on it. Your account stays open, because it lives on your organisation's system rather than on the device. Use one of the two routes above to close the account itself.
