ATLASfusion Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

This policy explains what ATLASfusion does with personal information. It covers the ATLASfusion web application and the ATLASfusion mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Who we are

ATLASfusion is built and operated by Gradient Advanced Technologies, an Australian company. We provide ATLASfusion to organisations under subscription. Those organisations are our customers, and their staff are the people who use the product.

Where your employer subscribes to ATLASfusion, they decide what information goes into the system and who may see it. We hold and process that information on their behalf.

How your account is created

ATLASfusion accounts are issued by an administrator at your own organisation. There is no public sign up, and you cannot create an account yourself in either the web application or the mobile apps.

What we collect

We collect the following, and only for the purposes listed beside each item.

Information Why we hold it
Name and email address To identify you when you sign in and to show who raised or was assigned a ticket.
Location, while the app is open To work out which site you are at when you raise a ticket, and to record where a fault was reported. The mobile apps ask for this the first time it is needed, and you may decline and choose your site by hand instead.
Photographs you take To attach evidence to tickets and to complete photo fields on inspection forms.
Ticket content and signatures To record the work your organisation carries out and who signed it off.
Asset and tag positions To show where tracked equipment is. Where a tag is carried by a person rather than fixed to equipment, this reveals that person's position within the site, and your organisation decides who may view it.
Push notification device token To send alerts about tickets and asset movement to the right device.
Sign in records The time, network address and device of each sign in, and changes to your account's security, to protect accounts and investigate misuse.
Requests to the AI features, where your organisation uses them To answer your question or run the automation your organisation set up, and to keep a record of what the AI did.
Technical logs To keep the service running and to diagnose faults.

We use this information to run the service for your organisation. We carry no advertising, we run no cross app or cross site tracking, and we sell nothing to anyone.

Bluetooth and positioning

The mobile apps use Bluetooth to read signal strength from nearby ATLAS tags and to configure ATLAS hardware during installation. Bluetooth is used to locate equipment on site. It is never used to identify nearby devices for advertising or profiling.

AI features

Your organisation may turn on ATLASfusion's AI features: an assistant you can ask questions, and automations that act on events such as a new ticket. They run on Anthropic's Claude models, through your organisation's own Anthropic account.

When they run, ATLASfusion sends Anthropic what the task needs: your question, and the records the AI looks up to answer it. Those can include people's names, ticket text, notes and photos, and the positions and zones of assets and tags. Email addresses and sign in names stay with us. Anthropic processes this information outside Australia. Where your organisation leaves the AI features off, nothing goes to Anthropic.

Where your information is held

ATLASfusion runs on Microsoft Azure, in the Australia Southeast region. Each customer organisation has its own separate database and its own set of Azure resources, so one customer's records stay apart from another's.

Five parts of the service work beyond Australia:

  • Maps come from Azure Maps, which Microsoft hosts outside Australia. Your browser or app asks it for map images of the area on screen. Names, tickets and tag positions stay with us.
  • Push notifications reach iPhones through Apple's notification service and Android phones through Google's. Each carries the notification's text.
  • Where your organisation uses the AI features, Anthropic processes the information described above.
  • Where your organisation sends text messages, ClickSend sends them. It receives the phone number and the message.
  • Where your organisation uses Infrafon badges, Infrafon's cloud delivers notifications to them. It receives the badge's identity and the message.

Microsoft, Apple, Google, ClickSend, Infrafon and, for organisations that use the AI features, Anthropic process information on our behalf or your organisation's. We use no advertising networks and no analytics services.

Who can see your information

  • Administrators and colleagues at your own organisation, according to the permissions they set.
  • Our support staff, when your organisation asks us for help and only for as long as that takes.
  • Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as a court or a regulator.

How long we keep it

Tag position and zone history, which can show where a person carrying a tag has been, is kept for 30 days and then deleted. Records of the AI features, your questions and what the AI did, are kept for 90 days. Your organisation may choose a different period for either to suit its own reporting and compliance needs, so ask your administrator which applies at your site.

Sign in records are kept for one year, to protect accounts. Copies of the emails we send you, such as invitations and security notices, are kept for 90 days.

We keep everything else for as long as your organisation holds a subscription and needs the records. When a subscription ends we return or delete the data on your organisation's instruction. Backups are cycled out in the normal course.

Your rights

Australian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have mistakes corrected, and to ask for your information to be deleted.

Start with your own administrator, who can act on most requests directly. You may also write to us at support@atlasfusion.com.au, and we will respond within 30 days. Where the request concerns records your employer controls, we will refer it to them and tell you that we have.

Read how to request deletion of your account.

Withdrawing permission

Camera, location, Bluetooth and notification permissions are granted per device, and you can withdraw any of them at any time in your device settings. The rest of the app keeps working, and the features that rely on the permission you withdrew will tell you what they need.

Keeping it safe

Traffic between the apps and our servers is encrypted in transit. Sign in tokens are held in the device keystore, which is the secure storage the operating system provides. Access within the product is governed by roles your organisation controls, and administrators may require a second factor at sign in. When you sign out of the web application, your browser is told to clear what it holds from ATLASfusion.

Children

ATLASfusion is a workplace product for adults. It is neither designed for nor directed at children.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects you, we tell your organisation's administrators as well.
