ATLASfusion Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the ATLASfusion web application and the ATLASfusion mobile apps for iOS and Android. Where your organisation has signed a subscription agreement with Gradient Advanced Technologies, that agreement takes precedence over anything on this page.
Who may use ATLASfusion
ATLASfusion is for organisations that hold a current subscription and for the staff and contractors those organisations authorise. Your administrator issues your account and decides what you may see and do.
The mobile apps are free to download. Signing in requires an account issued under a current subscription, so there is nothing to buy inside the apps.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself and use it only for your own account.
- Tell your administrator promptly if you think someone else has your credentials.
- Where your organisation requires a second factor at sign in, keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Acceptable use
Use ATLASfusion for the work your organisation has authorised. In particular:
- Access only the sites, assets and records your role covers.
- Keep what you see inside the product confidential to your organisation.
- Leave the security controls in place and report weaknesses to us rather than testing them.
- Use the interfaces we provide rather than automated scraping.
Your organisation's data
The information your organisation puts into ATLASfusion stays your organisation's property. We hold it to run the service, and we handle it as set out in our Privacy Policy. When a subscription ends we return or delete it on your organisation's instruction.
Positioning accuracy
ATLASfusion estimates position from radio signal strength. The estimates are useful for finding equipment and understanding how a site is used, and their accuracy varies with the building, the hardware layout and the surroundings. Walls, metal and even people moving about affect a reading.
Treat every position as an estimate. ATLASfusion is a business tool, and it is not a safety system, a medical device, or a substitute for emergency procedures. Where life or safety depends on knowing exactly where a person or an object is, use a system certified for that purpose.
Availability
We aim to keep ATLASfusion available at all times and we maintain it regularly. Where maintenance requires downtime, we schedule it and tell administrators beforehand. Uptime commitments, where your organisation has them, sit in its subscription agreement.
The mobile apps
The apps need network access to reach your organisation's data, and some features need hardware. Tag ranging and locator provisioning talk to ATLAS devices over Bluetooth, so those screens do their work only when the hardware is powered and within range.
Removing an app from your device signs that device out. It leaves your account and your organisation's records untouched. To have the account itself removed, see Account Deletion.
Our intellectual property
ATLASfusion, its software, its design and its documentation belong to Gradient Advanced Technologies. A subscription grants the right to use the product. It transfers no ownership.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, or where a subscription lapses. Where we can, we tell the organisation's administrators first.
Liability
Australian Consumer Law gives rights that these terms leave fully intact. Nothing on this page limits a liability that the law says we may not limit, and a court may set any figure the law requires.
Subject to that, our liability is limited to the amount your organisation paid for the subscription in the month before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes
When these terms change we update the date at the top of the page and tell administrators where the change materially affects how the product may be used.
